Temperature Measuring Points

Reatec temperature measuring points are the smallest form of self-adhesive temperature indicators, only measuring between 5 and 21 mm in diameter. Their single and irreversible indicator point minimizes the form factor and not only reliably indicates when a specific temperature threshold has been exceeded but also keeps the reading permanently visible. They are the most cost-efficient way to easily monitor critical temperatures and out of all our indicators they are the ones best suited for automated use.

Reatec temperature measuring points range in size from 5 x 5 mm to 21 mm in diameter:

• reaPoint professional — 17 x 17 mm (13 x 13 mm on request)
• reaPoint 5 standard — 18 mm diameter
• reaPoint standard — 21 mm diameter (12 / 18 mm on request)
• reaPoint mini — 9 mm diameter
• reaMini professional — 5 x 7 mm
• reaMini standard — 5 x 7 mm
• reaSquare standard — 5 x 5 mm

The most important information necessary in order to decide which point you should choose is the temperature threshold you want to control. Since only the reaMini and reaSquare indicators by default cover temperatures above 193 °C, they are your only choices if you want to go above that. They are also the smallest indicators in our sortiment, with reaSquare being a single, unmarked indicator point without printed scale for maximum size compression. If your target temperature sits below that, you should choose based on the size that fits your installation best. If you want to use the indicator in the proximity of liquids, you should choose from the reaPoint family, since they are all covered by a plastic film that keeps liquids from interfering with the reading. If your aim is automated use, you should choose a point supplied on rolls like reaPoint standard or mini. If you want to measure more than one threshold, reaPoint 5 is our only multi-indicator measuring point.
